Metegrity expands cooperation with Wrocław University of Science and Technology
Wrocław, Poland –
Conducting common invocative research, organizing student internships, developing and consulting a curriculum that meets the needs of the labor market - these are the key points of the cooperation agreement between Metegrity and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
On Thursday, 27th October 2016, the two organizations signed an official letter of intent declaring their commitment to ongoing cooperation. Signatories from the University were prof. Cezary Madryas, the rector, and prof. Andrzej Dziedzic, the vice-rector. The signatories of the agreement from the Metegrity side were Adrian Met, CEO and Robert Jabłoński, Senior Vice President.
Today’s signing institutes joint research and development between the organizations, with the aim of fostering innovative technological solutions, while organizing student internships and cooperation around employment for graduates. Emphasis will be placed on collaboration with scientific and student organizations.
“The signing of the letter of intent today is not only a symbol of willingness to continue this cooperation, but also of its tightening. This agreement is also proof that the company recognizes the high level of education of our students and their ability to cope with all kinds of problems”– said prof. Dziedzic.
The added depth of research and development resources provided by the University will be of monumental benefit to Metegrity in furthering the innovation of their product suite and remaining on the leading edge of technological advancement.
“Wroclaw University of Science and Technology educates engineers who are well prepared to tackle the tasks presented to them in our company. They have extensive knowledge and are able to work in groups, which is why we decided to expand the existing cooperation,” declared Adrian Met.
Cooperation between the organizations has been ongoing for the last 10 years – students from the Faculty of Electronics have had a chance to practice their skills in the Canadian branch of Metegrity, with some moving on to become valued employees. Representatives of the company, on the other hand, have been active participants in various conferences organized by the University.
